Pretty Woman Julia Roberts was right…

…and so is Naomi Bettencourt of Global Warming and Cooling! Stay Cool Naomi.

On my last post about my definition of personalized empowerment, I used a clip from City Slickers.  I promise not to make a habit of this but I had to do it one more time because Naomi had such a great comment.  In addition to being the top heating and cooling expert in the Las Vegas area, she also showed great insight to point out this clip of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and said…”It’s just true, isn’t it?”

The bad stuff is easier to believe…

Curly’s Secret to Life…

Empowerment

From the moment I saw this photo ot just seemed so transparent a symbol to how life works…and how unfair it can be. 

Two trees of basically the same height, size, and presumably age.  Both are exposed to the sun, same amount of water, soil.   There doesn’t seem to be any major threats to either tree’s health so both should thrive.  Yet, the tree on the left is sturdy, full of leaves and life while the other is bare, leaves at it’s base, exposed and dying.
